Friday morning came finally, and the boat is cleaned and stowed enough to depart. Woke before the sun came up and put stuff away or just stowed it in one of the aft state rooms so I could get underway. Started the diesel at 08:45 planning on a 10 minute fuel stop at the club fuel pier. Well all the best planning sometimes is useless……
Departed the MYC Fuel pier at 11:10, with the main up and jib furled. Powered out to the Brewerton channel, in mill pond like conditions. Motor sailed the Brewerton channel until I was pointed south, Close hauled on port tack. Secured the engine and drifted south. Good wind to the Bay bridge from port, then it shifted to the nose. Tacked back and forth a couple of times to clear bloody point. Headed for St. Michaels and a stay downtown.

Still sitting port side to the dock at the club…….. Yesterday was part work, part boat. The boat part lasted a long time into the night. I managed to quit at 2 am, and back at it today by 7 am. Finally done my real job and back on the boat with laundry and food by 3 pm….. So here I sit, dinner finished and lots of stowing still to do. I may be nap time soon, then up later to get everything done.
